ICS ARABIA was honored to address the esteemed dignitaries participating in the SCO-ECO event held in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This event, themed ‘Open Cooperation, Sharing the New Silk Road,’ showcased key stakeholders, with over 150 delegates representing more than a hundred Chinese and Saudi companies. The event was spearheaded by a distinguished delegation from the China-Shanghai Cooperation Organization Economic and Trade Cooperation, currently visiting Riyadh.
Led by Mr. Li Qiang, Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of the region, who outlined the goals and development status of the experimental area, highlighting a 20.8% annual increase in trade volume, reaching 92.93 billion yuan by September. From Saudi Arabia, His Excellency Mr. Mohammed bin Mahfouz, an advisor at the Saudi Ministry of Investment, emphasized collaboration aligned with Saudi Vision 2030 and the Chinese Belt and Road Initiative for mutual prosperity and global stability.
As a keynote speaker, ICS ARABIA’s CEO, Mr. Fahad Raza Khan, addressed the audience and highlighted the recent launch of the 100MW Tier III & Tier IV ‘Saudi Call Crownland Data Centers,’ managed by a China-Saudi consortium. This consortium is led by China Mobile International Limited (CMI), a globally leading telecom operator. Mr. Khan emphasized ICS Arabia’s leadership role in the design, construction, and operation of these state-of-the-art facilities, aiming to offer comprehensive solutions catering to the growing demands of the region’s Digital Economy, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Hyper-scalers, and Big Data.
Observers credit the success of the Riyadh summit for a surge in Chinese companies exploring Saudi Arabian investment opportunities, resulting in signed deals and projects. These developments underscore the deepening economic ties and heightened interest in mutually beneficial cooperation between the two nations.
Highlighting ICS Arabia’s contributions to Vision 2030, Khan noted its alignment with the increasing demand for AI, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and robust data center infrastructure in Saudi Arabia. The project is poised to play a pivotal role in further propelling the Kingdom into the digital era, meeting the evolving needs of the region’s technological landscape.
